You can never tell someone’s true personality in a first time meeting over coffee. I met Lori and Dan at a Starbucks months ago as we discussed plans for their upcoming wedding. They seemed very thorough and organized, but quiet and reserved. While they did end up being very organized (probably able to follow their set schedule better than any wedding I have ever been a part of) they were not quite as quiet and reserved as I first thought.
Like I said, you can’t always tell someone’s personality in a quick chat over coffee, but boy do those personalities come out when surrounded by so many friends and loved ones. You can just tell by the miles most of their guests drove/flew to be at their wedding, how open-hearted, loving, and warm these two lovebirds are. I was blessed to be a part of the celebration. When they gave a toast at the reception they said “we realize destination weddings are usually more exotic and with the exception of about 8 people, this is a destination wedding for most of our guests, so thanks for spending your hard earned money to come to Lafayette Indiana to share this day with us.”
